Weather in Dubai

The climate in Dubai is typically very dry and arid because of its location in the Northern desert belt. There is a high average of daily sun hours and very little rainfall.

The hottest months in Dubai are between June and September. Temperature is often up to 45° C during this time, and the humidity levels can be very high. At the hottest parts of the summer, even the sea temperature can reach up to 40° C. During this time of year, all the hotel pools are cooled down to make it a bit more refreshing.

The winter months between December and March offer much cooler temperatures of about 24° C. This tends to be one of the most popular times of year for visiting tourists, as the weather is generally very pleasant. Most of Dubai’s rainfall occurs between December and March, but it is generally very short and irregular.

The night time temperatures can drop considerably in the evenings, so it is always recommended to bring along some warm clothing. October and November are still typically hot with temperatures ranging between 30° and 35° C.
