There are no legal costs involved if you purchase real estate direct from the developer. There are only legal costs involved if you have a lawyer act on your behalf. The only fee that needs to be paid is a 1.5% land registry fee on completion of the sale.
Deposits are generally required when purchasing real estate in Dubai, and are generally 10%. This amount does vary however, and can sometimes be up to 20%.
